The iPhone 11 is technically no superior to the iPhone 11 Pro series, but its price is very good (for an iPhone) and it has many of the key features you won’t need but an Apple device. It replaces the iPhone XR with the same 6.1-inch display, but there’s a new dual-lens camera at the back.

Why it’s ranked 2nd: It’s not as good a value as Samsung’s top-not-so-high phone, but the iPhone 11 is the best iPhone for most people because it costs $699. This is cheaper than the XR released a year ago and much more affordable than the iPhone 11 Pro, which starts at $1,000 and rises. And unlike the iPhone SE 2020, which we later praised for being good value, you get most of the features available on Pro-level phones, such as the camera’s stunning Night Mode.
Display: The 6.1-inch display fits between iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max sizes, which is an attractive choice if you want a large screen but not the biggest. While the OLED doesn’t have the benefits of the display on pro models, some people won’t see a difference unless you see all the phones side by side. If you don’t mind the nott, it’s still a bright-looking phone.
Battery life: This iPhone can offer all-day battery life and is slightly better than the iPhone XR battery we thought was the star last year. What are you going to miss? The more expensive iPhone 11 Pro series lasts a little longer and while it comes with a fast charger in the box, it’s not the iPhone 11.
Camera: This is close to the best iPhone camera with both a 12MP main camera and a new 12MP ultra-wide camera to fit more into the frame. Pro models lack a triple-lens camera that adds a telephoto lens, but you get two basic cameras from this pairing and it includes a long-exposure night mode that will automatically illuminate dark photos.
